Harold J. Carini, 78, of Old Forge, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, September 15, 2014, at the home of his daughter, Lisa, after a brief illness.
Born in Old Forge, he was a son of the late Joseph and Margaret Righi Carini. Harold was a graduate of Forty Fort High School. He was also a graduate of Kings College, Wilkes-Barre, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree and the University of Scranton, where he earned his Master's Degree. He was employed as a therapist for Northeast Counseling, Nanticoke.
Harold was a beloved father and Nonno, who was cherished by his family and will forever be missed. He was an animal lover and had volunteered for the Blue Chip Farm Animal Rescue, Dallas.
Surviving are his daughters, Lisa Angeli, West Pittston and Lara Olayer and husband, Dana, Englewood, Fla. and grandson, Kaelin.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects during a celebration of Harold's life on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Baloga Funeral Home Inc., 1201 Main St., Pittston (Port Griffith). Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
