Donna Marie Vodzack, 66, of Port Griffith passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, surrounded by her family. She and her loving and devoted husband, Bernie Vodzack, celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on May 8, 2022.

Born in Port Griffith, Donna was the daughter of the late Stanley and Genevieve Bianco Barosky. She was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, Class of 1973. She went on to become a Registered Nurse and dedicated over 40 years of her life to her career at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp., until her illness. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.

Donna was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother (affectionately referred to as "Babe"), sister, aunt and friend. She was a kind and compassionate soul with a heart so full of love for helping others. She will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Lauren Flanagan and husband, Jerry, Duryea; son, Eric Vodzack and wife, Katie, Kingston; grandchildren, Ava, Lily, and Colin Flanagan and Noah Vodzack; brother, Frank Barosky, Ohio; sisters-in law, Maryellen Vodzack, Port Griffith, and Helen Barosky, Pittston Twp.; brother-in-law, Robert Vodzack and wife, Linda, South Carolina; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Barry Barosky.

The funeral will be held at 8:45 AM Monday, July 18, 2022, from Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. 1201 Main Street, Pittston (Port Griffith), with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St John the Evangelist Church, William St., Pittston. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects Sunday from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
