Robert Joseph Bizub - Friday, 6/30/2023

Robert Joseph Bizub, 60, of Monroe Township, formerly of Port Blanchard, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 23, 2023, at his home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of Joseph R. Bizub, Port Blanchard and the late Josephine Pirillo Bizub. Robert was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, Class of 1981. He was employed by the Wyoming Valley Country Club, Hanover and years earlier for Villa Roma, Harveys Lake.

In addition to his father, Robert is survived by his son, Dylan R. Bizub, Plains; siblings, Joseph Bizub, Plains; Brenda Stchur and husband, Nick, Hudson and Karen Bizub, Rahway, NJ; grandson, Mowgli Bizub; niece, Shelby Bizub and nephew, Nicholas Stchur.

Bob was a devoted son and adored his grandson, Mowgli.

Bob was an exceptional cook. With his 45 years of experience working in many local establishments, he became well known and respected throughout the culinary industry.

If you couldn't find him in the kitchen, Bob was at Ceasetown Dam doing what he loved....fishing and listening to music, as he was a Grateful Dead enthusiast. He was an avid outdoorsman and his passion for fishing developed at an early age during family camping trips.

Bob lived his life in color. He was a tie dye artist known to many as "Tye Dye Bob". LFTDB
