Gerald "Jerry" B. Rocker, II - Saturday, 4/5/2025

Gerald "Jerry" B. Rocker, II, 61, of Dupont, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, in Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Japan, he was a son of the late Gerald and Kathy A. Kerrigan Rocker. He was a graduate of Enfield High School, Enfield, CT and attended St. Leo's College, Florida. Prior to moving back to Pennsylvania, he was a manager for Little Caesars and Applebee's franchises in Florida.

Jerry was a beloved brother, "Uncle Rock" and friend. He was cherished by his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Jerry had a vast knowledge on history, movies, trees, flowers and everything in between. He was a talented painter and artist. He loved pottery and sitting out on his porch enjoying the beauty of nature and animals.

He is survived by his brother, Casey Rocker, Pittston; sister, Colleen Wilson, Exeter; nieces, Caitlyn Rocker, Cassie Wilson, Sarah Smith; nephew, Harry Wilson; his cat, Mrs. Fisher; and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Renee Creel; his partner of 19 years, Fernando Gonzalez Pérez; his dog, Marie and cats, Shadowpye, Esmeralda and Rose.

A Blessing Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 5, 2025, in Baloga Funeral Home Inc., 1201 Main St., Pittston (Port Griffith), with Fr. Paul McDonnell, O.S.J.., officiating.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects during a celebration of Jerry's life on Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00PM.
