Henry "Hank" B. Psolka, Jr., 79, of Franklin Township, Dallas, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre a son of the late Henry and Ann Marek Psolka. Henry was a graduate of Kingston High School and Wyoming Valley Technical Institute. He then enlisted in the Air Force in July 1965. Henry was a guided missile analyst (missileer) after completing his training at Chanute AFB. He observed his 21st birthday at Malmstrom AFB in Montana. There he was a "minute man" with SAC missile operation and was also assigned to a missile base in Grand Forks North Dakota.
Hank was owner and operator of Marsh Electro-Mechanical, a well water business installing and servicing water pumps for nearly 50 years.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Fresenius Kidney Care, Dallas, for their compassionate care for the past several years.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul E. Psolka.
He is survived by his brother, Andrew Psolka; his nephew and caregiver, Paul R. Psolka; cousin, Robert Psolka; dearest Joan Taylor; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Blessing Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 20, 2025, in Baloga Funeral Home Inc., 1201 Main St., Pittston (Port Griffith), with Fr. Michael S. Drevitch, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
