Theresa Grace Baloga - Monday, 9/8/2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theresa Grace Baloga, mother, grandma, aunt and friend, who passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025 and traveled into the arms of her Lord and Savior. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late Rosario and Marie Grace Riggi Mistretta. She was a graduate of Dunmore High School. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Bittner Sunrooms and Penn Patio. Theresa was a devoted member of New Life Community Church, Hanover Township. Theresa was all about her family, and they have so many memories to hold onto, especially from their fun trips to Nay Aug Park. She was a super proud grandma, and if you ever talked to her, she'd tell you all about her grandkids and their adventures. Theresa had a strong belief in Jesus and loved to share that with everyone she met. She enjoyed going on prayer walks and was very giving of herself, always ready to help anyone in need. Theresa was full of energy and loved going on adventures, no matter where they led. She was a huge fan of Elvis and watched his movies again and again! Theresa left a great legacy and is survived by her sons, Donny Baloga and wife, Jennifer, of Stokesdale, NC; their children, Joshua, Matthew and Andrew Baloga,; John Baloga and wife, Susan, of Dupont; their daughter, Taylor Baloga, PT, DPT and fiancé, Steven Parrinelli; Ronald Baloga, of Pittston; his children, Amanda and Stephen Baloga; Michael Baloga and wife, Mary, Wyoming; their children, Carolyn, Laura, Luke, Adria, Doris, Elisabeth, Mae, Emma, Lydia and Molly Baloga; daughter-in-law, Heather Baloga Mazonis; nephews, Thomas and Christopher Fritz; and her Dunmore family, whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Thomas Fritz. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 8, 2025, in Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. 1201 Main Street, Pittston, (Port Griffith), with Rev. Gideon Gaitano, Pastor of New Life Community Church, Hanover Township, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, at the funeral home.
