Alex J. Radginski, 86, of Inkerman , passed away Saturday evening, March 22, 2014, in Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre. He and his wife, Josephine Harenza Radginski, celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on September 21, 2013.

Born in Hunlock Creek, he was a son of the late Aleksander and Amelia Grocka Radginski . He was an Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Ashley Machine & Tool Co., Wyoming. He was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church, Laflin. He was a past president of the Jenkins Twp. Hose Co..

Alex was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a proud member of the White Ash Land Assoc., Mildred. He will always be remembered for his love of gardening and beagles, including his best friend, Buddy.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Delores Darsey and husband, Brian, Tampa, FL; Robert Radginski and wife, Roxann, Pittston Twp.; grandchildren, Kyle, Geoffrey and Josh Lokuta and Amanda Radginski; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Edward, Stanley, Genevieve Trojan, Joseph, Walter, Alice and Alfred Radginski.

The funeral will be Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 8:45 A.M. from Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. 1201 Main St. Pittston, (Port Griffith), with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. in St. Maria Goretti Church 42 Redwood Drive., Laflin, to be celebrated by Msgr. Neil J. Van Loon, Pastor. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. The Parish Rosary Group will recite the rosary at 9:00 A.M. in the church.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart 600 Baltimore Drive Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
