Rev. Raymond F. Dymond, of Wyoming, passed away on Sunday morning, July 12, 2015, at home. He and his wife, Cathrine Moses Dymond, would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on August 15th.
Born in Kingston, he was a son of the late Fred S. and Doris Snyder Dymond. He was a graduate of Wyoming High School, (1964) Shelton College, (1968) and Faith Theological Seminary (1972), where he received his Master of Divinity degree and the same year was ordained in the Bible Presbyterian Church, where he served as Pastor in three churches in New Jersey. In 1977, he helped in the formation of the American Presbyterian Church where he served for over 30 Years. In 2011, he joined the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America and pastored the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Wyoming Valley, Forty Fort. He also was a heavy equipment salesman, a Voortman cookie distributor, an insurance agent and a courier.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, James Dymond and wife, Jennifer of Ellwood City, PA and daughters, Deborah Nelson and husband, Jeremy and Mary Baloga and husband, Michael, both of Wyoming; brother, Ernest Dymond and wife, Cynthia, of Williamsville, NY; 16 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 10: 00 A.M. in the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Wyoming Valley, 1700 Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort. Interment will be in the Wyoming Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday at the church from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M and Saturday 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
