Georgeann Marich - Wednesday 9/16/15
Georgeann Marich, 54, of Shickshinny, formerly of Pittston, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 11, 2015. She is survived by her loving companion of 25 years and best friend, Norman Morford. Born in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of Rosemary Davala Durling, Pittston and the late Gerard Durling. Georgeann was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, class of 1979. She relished the time spent on her farm, Royal Sun Farm in Shickshinny and was a very successful horse trainer. Her love of animals also included her dogs, cats and horses. She was a beloved daughter, companion, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, godmother and friend, who was cherished by her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She truly adored her grandchildren and they will never forget their many visits to Grandma George's house. Georgeann enjoyed life and always sought adventure. Some of her pastimes included antiquing, gardening, and trips to the casino. She was also an avid sports fan. In addition to her mother and companion, she is survived by her daughter, Stevie Musto and her husband, Attorney Biagio, Pittston; grandchildren, Cherokee, Brianna, Adam, Alex, Amara and Josh Musto; brothers, Gene Durling, Pittston and Kenny Durling, Kingston; sister, Barbara Durling, Pittston; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at 9:30 A.M. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
