Rose Meyer, of Pittston, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015, at Timber Ridge Health Care Center, Wilkes-Barre, surrounded by her loving family. Rose and her husband, Jack Meyer, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on May 10.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Christina Owens and Philip Perez. Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, Rose and Jack had lived 6 years in Louisiana and 22 years in Texas. Rose was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving in addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons; two daughters; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a brother.
