Robert N. Savidge, Sr., 83, of Jenkins Twp., passed away Thursday morning, April 13, 2017, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Township.

Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late Dana Leroy and Agnes Albertson Savage. He was educated in the Glen Lyon school district. Robert was an Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Peerless Light Co. in Berkeley, California. Robert had also lived in Houston, Texas for over 35 years.

Surviving are his daughter, Lynn Hromisin, Pittston; sons, Robert Savidge, Jr., Pittston; Dana Savidge, Oklahoma City, OK; Richard Savidge, California; Gary Savidge, Pittston; and Kevin Savidge, Fayetteville, NC; brother, Richard Savage, Puloski, VA; sister, Shirley Jacobs, Holland, MI

He was preceded in death by several siblings.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
