Edith A. Gross - Private

Edith A. Gross, 90, of Pittston passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018, in Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Dallas. Her husband, Joseph Gross passed away in 2004.

Born in Exeter, she was a daughter of the late William and Thressa Stout Perschau. Edith was educated in the Pittston schools. Prior to her retirement, she had worked for W.T. Grant and Kmart restaurants Pittston as a waitress. She was a former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Hughestown.

Edith is survived by her daughters, Ann Marie Gross and Mary Thressa Fine; ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Edith was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Gross, brothers; William and Darwin Perschau; sisters; Dorcas Perschau, Keitha Webb, Dorothy Moss, Elizabeth Klocko, Joan Tatri, and Alice Lolli.

The funeral and interment are private at the convenience of the family.

Ann Marie and Mary Thressa, I am so very, very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I sure wish we had made a point of coming to visit, but just never did. It's been quite awhile.
