Thomas Mann Nesbitt, III, 76, of Port Griffith, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. His wife, Janet Ann Johns Nesbitt, passed away in 1989.
Born in Kingston, he was a son of the late Kenneth Joseph and Ruthella Lloyd Nesbitt. Thomas was a graduate of West Wyoming High School, Class of 1960. He was a veteran of US Air Force and served for 21 years with the 109th National Guard earning the rank of Specialist 4. He was employed by Kmart, Wilkes-Barre, Crystie Fashions, Wyoming and later for Gene Lispi Chevrolet, Pittston.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Visiting Angels, Forty Fort, especially Jim Alfano, who was with Tommy for the past several years and took exceptional care of him. Also the many other caregivers too numerous to mention.
He is survived by his loving and devoted sister, Hazel Pepe and husband, James, Wyoming; step daughter, Andrea Dubois, Maine and numerous cousins and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 14, 2019, in the chapel at Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton. Rev. Donald Roberts, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Taylor, will officiate.
