David J. Wech, Sr. - Thursday, 4/4/2019

David J. Wech, Sr., 62, of Inkerman, passed away Saturday evening, March 30, 2019, at home. He and his wife, Roxanne Farrell Wech, celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary on April 23, 2018.

Born in Kingston, he is the son of Lois Mountjoy Joyce, Philadelphia and the late Delbert Wech. He was a member of the Lithuanian Club, Inkerman.

David was a beloved son, husband, father, "Poppy", brother and friend, who was cherished by his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother, he is also survived by his children, David Wech, Jr., Rick Wech, Lisa Mancini and husband, James, Brian Graham and wife, Karissa, and Cheryl Alu and husband, John; grandchildren, Jacob, Mykayla and Liam Mancini; Bryce and Kylie Graham; and Sophia and Benjamin Alu; brother, Delbert Wech and wife, Theresa; sister, Karen Franchi and husband, Gus; father-in-law, John R. Farrell, Sr.; nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters in-laws.

He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Carol A. Farrell.

A blessing service will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, April 4, 2019, in Baloga Funeral Home, Inc., 1201 Main St., Pittston (Port Griffith), with Fr. John C. Ruth, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.
