Marjorie Zielinski, 88, of Jenkins Twp., passed away Thursday evening, December 3, 2020, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. She was the widow of Frank M. Zielinski, who passed away on June 13, 2014.
Marjorie was born in Sebastopol, she was a daughter of the late George and Anna Czar Semyon. She was a graduate of Jenkins Township High School, Class of 1949. She was employed by MK Manufacturing, Wyoming and Flexees, Pittston, from where she retired.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Port Griffith until its closure. She was a current member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.
Marjorie was a beloved mother, wonderful grandmother, recently a great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be remembered for the love she shared with her family, being a great cook and how she enjoyed the nice weather sitting out on her porch.
She is survived by her son, Robert Zielinski and wife, Deborah, Old Forge; daughters, Debra Chicoski and husband, Edward, Pittston Twp.; Gloria Capitano and husband, Louis, Pittston; grandchildren, Eric Zielinski, Edward, Jr. and Stefanie Chicoski, and Kristen Capitano; great grandson, Evan Chicoski; brother, Joseph Semyon, Jenkins Twp.; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by infant brother John, brothers, Michael, Albert and George Semyon and sisters, Ann Salvest, Helen Semyon, Dorothy Yeager, and Mary Gvodas.
A public funeral service will be celebrated at a later date. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
