Christine L. Bogdon, 68, of Hunlock Creek, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.. She and her husband, Joseph Bogdon, celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on July 20, 2020.

Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late John and Dorothy Plonski Wassil. She was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, Class of 1971. She was employed by Owens-Illinois, Jenkins Twp. and Encon, Dallas.

Christine was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Her memory will live on forever in the lives she touched.

In addition to her husband, she is survived her son, Brian Bogdon and wife, Michele, Honey Brook; grandchildren, Tyler and Abigail Bogdon, sister, Dorothy Zavada and husband, Jerry, Edgewater Park, NJ; several nieces, nephews and cousins; sister-in-law, Lois McHugh; brother-in-law, Stanley Kotulski.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara A. Nelson and brother, John W. Wassil.

The funeral and interment will be at the convenience of the family at a later date.
