Eileen A. Yeremsky, R.N., 74, of Pittston Township, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 in Residential Hospice Inpatient Unit at Geisinger South, Wilkes-Barre. She was the widow of Robert Anthony Yeremsky, Sr., who passed away in 2004.

Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late Archie and Helen Stegura Lori. Eileen was a graduate of St. John the Evangelist High School, Class of 1965 and Pittston Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1968. She was employed by Wyoming Valley Hospital and John Heinz, both of Wilkes-Barre and Allied Services, Scranton, from where she retired in 2006. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, West Pittston.

Eileen is survived by her son, Robert Yeremsky, Jr., Pittston Twp.; sister, Loretta Celestino, Pittston Twp.; aunt, Margaret Kology, Cheektowaga, NY; cousins.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, David Yeremsky and many aunts and uncles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 9:30 AM in Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston, to be celebrated by Msgr. John J. Sempa. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects from 9:00 AM until the time of the mass, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pittston Twp. Ambulance Assoc. 24 Bryden St, Pittston, PA 18640 and the American Cancer Society 712 S. Keyser Avenue Taylor, PA 18517.
