Ann M. Clonan, 87, formerly of Pittston, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011, at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. She was the widow of Thomas J. Clonan, Sr., who died July 28, 2007.

Born in Pittston on July 27, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John and Notre Loftus Johnson. She was a graduate of St. John the Evangelist High School and a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, and its Altar & Rosary Society, Pittston. She was also a member of the Jacquelines of the Knights of Columbus, Pittston. She had been employed by Bell Telephone and D'Anca & Reiff Pharmacy. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Surviving is her son, Thomas J. Clonan, Jr. and his wife Lori, Duryea; Daughter, Mary Ann Bevilaqua and her husband John, Dallas; Grandchildren Kelly Ann Bevilaqua and John Bevilaqua, Jr.; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Johnson, sisters, Agnita Linskey and Mary D. Bidwell.

The Family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff of the Meadows for the exceptional care they provided to Ann. Also to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their recent care to Ann.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at 9 AM from the Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. 1201 Main St. Pittston, (Port Griffith), with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, William St., Pittston. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. John the Evangelist Church - Improvement Fund, 35 William St, Pittston, PA 18640.

Arrangements are by the Ruane & Regan Funeral Home, Pittston. Due to road work, visitation & funeral will be held from the Baloga Funeral Home, Inc..
