Debra A. Corrado Jacobs, 66, of Pittston, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.. Her husband of 19 years, Allan J. Jacobs, passed away on November 11, 2019.

Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of Ernest Corrado, Wilkes-Barre and the late Mary DeVergilius Corrado. She was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, Class of 1973. Prior to retirement, she was employed for 38 years by the Social Security Administration, Wilkes-Barre. Debra was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church, Pittston.

Surviving in addition to her father, is her aunt, Esther Mirro, West Pittston; step-sisters, Eleanor Garavaglia and husband, Alfred, Kingston, and Theresa Shrader and husband, Gary, Wilkes-Barre; step-brother, John Rooney, Kingston; several cousins and friends; and her dogs, Sadie and Bandit.

She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Eleanor Corrado.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. 1201 Main Street, Pittston (Port Griffith), with Roger Griffith, Pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church, Pittston, officiating. Interment will be in Pittston Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.

At the request of the family, masks are required during the visitation and funeral service.
