Theresa Ann Panunti - Friday, 1/7/2022

Theresa Ann Panunti, 68, of Pittston, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Nettie Occhiato Panunti. She was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, Class of 1972 and Jerrytone Beauty School, Pittston, Class of 1973. Theresa Ann was last employed by the Luzerne County Courthouse Mapping Department.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Guy Fasciana and also the staff of Highland Manor, Exeter, for the compassionate care given to Theresa Ann.

Surviving is her brother, Robert Panunti and wife, Cheryl; sister-in-law, Bernadine "Bernie" Panunti; nieces and nephews: Dr. Brandy Panunti, David Panunti, Jr., Michael Panunti, Rob Panunti and Melissa Welliver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David J. Panunti, Sr..

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, January 7, 2022, in Parish of St. Barbara, 224 Memorial Street, Exeter, to be celebrated by Fr. Michael E. Finn, Pastor. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Pittston Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the church, from 9:00 AM until the time of the mass.

For the safety of everyone in attendance, the family requests that masks be worn during the visitation and mass.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. 1201 Main Street, Pittston (Port Griffith).
