Florence Lulavage, 95, of Port Griffith, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, in Highland Manor Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Exeter.

Born in Port Griffith, she was a daughter of the late Adam Lulewicz and Justyna Lukian Petchul Lulewicz. She was a graduate of Jenkins Township High School, Class of 1945. Prior to retirement, Florence was the owner and operator of Faye's Phase in Wyoming and later relocated to Wilkes-Barre. She was also employed by Blum Brothers in Wilkes Barre. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Port Griffith, until its closure. She was also a member of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America.

In her earlier years, some of her pastimes were gardening, sewing, baking desserts and hosting all of the holiday family dinners. She loved animals especially dogs and cats. Florence was cherished by her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Florence is survived by her niece, Justine Sokol Salvo and husband Chuck, Wall, NJ; grandnephews, Ethan Robinson and wife Selena, Zachary Robinson, and Michael Salvo and wife Danielle; grandnieces, Melody Robinson and husband James Hamill, and Leigha Donovan and husband Ryan; several other nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her niece, Mary Alice Robinson; brothers, John Petchul, Victor Petchul, Chester Lulavage, Alfred Lulewicz, and Francis Lulewicz; and sisters, Stella Muranko, Mary Sokol, and Scholastica Teresa Lulewicz.

A Blessing Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 11, 2022, in Baloga Funeral Home Inc., 1201 Main St., Pittston (Port Griffith), with Msgr. John J. Sempa, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Port Griffith.

Relatives, friends, and neighbors may pay their respects during a celebration of Florence's life on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at the funeral home.
