Irene Sorbelli, of Jenkins Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 13, 2023 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was the wife of Paul Sorbelli, who passed away in 2009.

Born in Jenkins Township, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Veronica Voitus Humko. Prior to retirement, she was employed in the garment industry.

Irene is survived by her son, Vincent N. Sorbelli, Jenkins Twp., sister, Dolores "Doris" Humko Smyden, Jenkins Twp.; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Irene has also been reunited with her sons, Paul John Sorbelli, Jr. and Mark P. Sorbelli; brother, Peter Humko and sister, Veronica Lubardo.

A private family viewing and blessing service will be held at the funeral home. There will be no public calling hours. Interment will take place in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
