Anthony "Sal" J. Salvaggio, Sr., 62, of West Pittston, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 29, 2023.

Born in Pittston, he was a son of the late Jasper and Pearl Argenio Salvaggio. Anthony was a graduate of West Side Tech, Pringle. He was employed by IWDA Engineering, Dunmore.

Anthony was an avid golfer and loved to cook, especially his mother's recipe for Pizza Gaina around Easter time.

He survived by his daughter, Christina Salvaggio and companion, Michael, West Wyoming; son, Anthony Salvaggio, Jr. and companion, Kayla, Forty Fort; grandchildren, Caroline, Colton and Liam; sister, Helene Vermack and husband, George, West Pittston; several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 PM on Monday, August 7, 2023, at Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. 1201 Main Street, Pittston (Port Griffith). Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Monday, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.
