Santo "Joe" Giambra, 74, of Kingston Township, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He and his wife, Judy Durko Giambra, celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on November 3, 2022. Born in Pittston, he was a son of the late Joseph and Theresa C. Insogna Giambra. He was a graduate of Pittston High School, Class of 1966 and King's College, Wilkes-Barre. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Joseph Giambra and wife, Marissa and Bryan Giambra and wife, Renee, all of Suscon; grandchildren, Santo, Olivia and Bryan Giambra; great granddaughter, Madison Giambra; sisters, Marie Limongelli, West Pittston and Louise Gowran, Wyoming; several nieces and nephews. A Blessing Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 17, 2023, in Baloga Funeral Home Inc., 1201 Main St., Pittston (Port Griffith), with Fr. Louis A. Grippe, officiating. Relatives and friends may pay their respects Thursday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
