AnnaMae T. Usevicz, 74, of West Pittston, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at home. She was the wife of Robert Usevicz, who passed away on March 30, 2006.
Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Marjorie Bond Sokoloski. She attended Plains High School. Prior to retirement, AnnaMae was employed as a bartender and waitress for several businesses in the Pittston area.
AnnaMae was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and embraced as "Ma" and "Gram" to anyone she met. She was a homemaker and helped raise her grandchildren, Kristie and Paige.
She is survived by her children, Robin Turner and husband, Elwood; Robert Usevicz and wife, Diane Ferrira and Scott Usevicz and companion, Joelene Gross; daughter-in-laws, Heidi Usevicz and Paula Strubeck; grandchildren, Kevin Usevicz, Jr. and wife Kate; Bret, Nicholas, and Amanda Usevicz, Kyle Callahan and fiancé Alyssa Neare; Kristie Usevicz and companion, Daniel Dougal; Paige Usevicz, Madison Williams and Kyle Norton; 17 great grandchildren; sisters, Sharon McCabe and husband, Jim; Mary Evans and husband, Greg and Marjorie Feeley and husband, Arthur; sister-in-laws, Beverly Sokoloski and Patricia Cimakasky; great aunt, Patsy Filipiak; Goddaughter Stacey Kubilus; several nieces and nephews; and Dr. James A. Tricarico and staff.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Usevicz and brothers, Richard and Pete Sokoloski.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects during a celebration of AnnaMae's life on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. 1201 Main Street, Pittston, (Port Griffith).
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer plants that can be sent to the funeral home.
