Thomas Hoban - January 18, 2014

Thomas Hoban, 58, formerly of Pittston and New Jersey, passed away Monday morning, January 13, 2014, in the Hampton House, Wilkes-Barre, under the care of Heartland Hospice. His wife is Jackie Ardiere Hoban.

Born in Camden, NJ, he was a son of the late Charles and Frances Morgan Hoban. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. and a member of the VFW Post #6518, Exeter.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Nicole McCarty, Voorhees, NJ and Melissa Melunes, Bellmawr, NJ; brother, Frank Hoban, Gloucester City, NJ; step sons, Carl Dorbad, Las Vegas, NV and Jason Dorbad, Plains; three grandsons, Ethan, Dylan and Jason; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Jeremiah and brother, Raymond.

The funeral will be held on Saturday at 7:30 PM in Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. 1201 Main Street, Pittston (Port Griffith). Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family or Heartland Hospice 38 N. Main Street Pittston, PA 18640.

My prayers and condolences to the entire Hoban Family. I had the pleasure of knowing Tommy most of my life he was a great guy. He was truly loved and will be truly missed by all that knew him. May he rest in peace.
