Susan L. Baloga was born and raised in Pittston.
Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. was founded in 2009 to provide an affordable, family owned option for funeral and cremation services in the Pittston Area. Susan L. Baloga, Supervisor and licensed funeral director, has total commitment to the funeral industry and the people of the community. That is why she chose to open the funeral home in the area which she was born and raised.
Susan is the youngest of nine children born to Elizabeth McGinley Dabbieri and the late Joseph Dabbieri. She is a graduate of Pittston Area High School and has been her class reunion organizer for every reunion since high school. She is also a graduate of Northampton Community College , Bethlehem , PA , where she earned her degree in Funeral Service/Mortuary Science.
With over 20 year's experience, Susan has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the funeral business having worked full-time as Supervisor/Associate for firms in the Old Forge and Scranton area. She most recently served as Supervisor to an Avoca firm but resigned from that position to pursue her childhood dream.
Susan realizes the need for personalizing the funeral experience and making it a memorable occasion in celebrating the lives of the loved ones we have lost. Susan knows the importance of a personal touch to detail and helping families through this very difficult time. She is here to offer the shoulder to cry on, the arms to embrace you and the hand you hold to guide you through. Susan and her staff will strive to exceed your expectations and make your funeral experience one that you can remember and cherish as an honorable tribute to those you love.
Susan is available for you to pre-plan your funeral and also at the time of need. She understands that families have needs even after the funeral has ended. And she continues to be there in the days, weeks, months, and years that follow as a friend that you can count on and trust when it really matters.
Susan along with her husband John are also members of the Jenkins Twp. Lions Club and The Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce.
John R. Baloga was raised in Dupont and Jenkins Twp. and is the second of four sons born to Theresa and Donald Baloga. John is a graduate of Pittston Area High School and East Stroudsburg University where he earned a B.S. degree in Media Communications and Technology. Over the past 20 years, John has worked in the local television and digital technology industry. John is the VP of Baloga Funeral Home Inc.
They are proud parents of a daughter, Taylor.
