Our Services
Funeral Services:
A Funeral Service is a celebration of a person's life. The funeral could be as unique as the individual. At Baloga Funeral Home, Inc., we are here to help your family with the planning and choosing of the options that suit your loved ones wishes and your families need.
Baloga Funeral Home, Inc. is a full-service funeral home.
The following are some of the choices we can assist you with.
Traditional Service
A traditional funeral service includes a visitation (viewing), a funeral service at the funeral home, church, or another location of choice. The necessary equipment, such as a hearse or other vehicle to transport your loved one to the funeral site and cemetery. Other items may be purchased such as a memorial register book, memorial folders and acknowledgement cards. Floral arrangements are often displayed. We
encourage
you to supply photographs to be displayed on our memory board. A funeral tribute video is provided at your families request to further personalize the service.
Graveside Service
A graveside service is held at the cemetery or burial site. This service may be open to the public or limited to the immediate family.
Memorial Service
A memorial service is conducted without the remains present.
The Memorial service can be held at our funeral home or another location of choice. The service is often held within a week of the death. These days, however, it can even be delayed for a longer period of time for the sake of the family's convenience. This may be the case especially if mourners must travel a great distance to attend. For the memorial service, you are
encouraged
to supply photographs to be displayed on our memory boards. A tribute video is provided at your families request to further personalize the service.
Cremation Services
Our Funeral home offers an array of cremation options to fit your needs.
*A visitation (viewing) at the funeral home then services at church or funeral home prior to cremation
*Cremation with the cremated remains present for a memorial service or church service
*Direct cremation (without visitation or services)
Direct Burials with or without a memorial service.
In addition to funeral services our staff also provides the following services.
Pre-Planning:
There are many advantages to planning a funeral ahead of time. By pre-planning a funeral, difficult decisions will not have to be made during a time when the burden of grief is overwhelming. When someone has a clearer mind, it allows them the ability to understand the different options available. It will make you aware of the aspects involved in planning a funeral that you may not have thought about. It will also allow you to make the decision if you wanted to be buried in a cemetery, a mausoleum or if before or after your services you wished to be cremated. Taking care of your wishes ahead of time allows you the peace of mind that your wishes are known and the burden of these decisions will not become the responsibility of your loved ones to decide. Our staff will help you plan so that your family can carry out your wishes, when the need arises.
Obituaries:
We handle the preparation of the newspaper obituary to be published for your loved one.
